Where are you travelling from?

Heathrow Airport:

Take M4 then M25, SP Watford. Take Exit 20 and A41 to Hemel Hempstead, then follow directions as shown from Hemel Hempstead.

Distance 30 miles.

Luton Airport (avoiding Dunstable):

Turn left after leaving the airport, SP M1. Follow the road until you come to a large roundabout, with the junction for the motorway.

Turn left towards Harpenden, on the A6. Shortly afterwards take the first right turn to Slip End. Take the next left turn, to Slip End, go through the village and carry on until you reach a junction with the A5.

Turn right towards Dunstable and after about a mile turn left at the ‘Packhorse’ pub to Kensworth. There is also a sign to Whipsnade Wild Animal Park, a brown elephant.

Continue through Kensworth and Whipsnade looking out for the Bison and Penguins on your left as you go past the Zoo.

At the bottom of the hill turn right, go straight over the roundabout at the Indian Restaurant towards Eaton Bray. Then take the third left turn, a no through road, SP Bellows Mill.

Distance 10 miles.

Dunstable:

Take the B489, SP Aston Clinton and Ivinghoe. After about three miles you pass the London Gliding Club on your left.

At the next roundabout turn right at the Indian Restaurant and take the third left turn, a no through road, SP Bellows Mill.

Distance 4 miles.

Hemel Hempstead:

Take the Leighton Buzzard road, the B4146.

After about 8 miles you enter the village of Dagnall and will pass ‘the Golden Rule’ pub on your left. Shortly after take the last exit off the roundabout, SP to Dunstable.

After a mile you come to another roundabout with the Indian Restaurant opposite. Go straight over towards Eaton Bray and take the third left turn, a no through road, sign posted Bellows Mill.

Distance 10 miles.

Milton Keynes:

Take the A5 south towards Dunstable.

Go through Hockliffe and after about three miles turn right onto the dual carriageway, SP Aylesbury, the A505.

Take the first exit on the left, SP Eaton Bray, and follow the road to the junction.

Turn right and go through the village of Eaton Bray until you see the ‘Café Masala’ restaurant on your left. Half a mile further on take the next right turn SP Bellows Mill.

Distance 15 miles.

Train Stations:

Regular trains from London Euston provide a good alternative to travellin by road. Stations local to Bellows Mill are Tring, Berkhamsted and Leighton Buzzard.
